Day One in the Can!

TeamWelcomeHey everyone!

We are finishing up the night and I am up on the roof of one of the buildings so I can get a better signal to finish this post. I’m pleased to tell you that after over 36 hours of travel together, the team has made it safely to CEM! It was the signature CEM welcome and some afternoon playtime when the kids finished their studies.

But here’s the deal: After four (or five) airplanes, layovers, weather related flight delays and more airport food than we want to admit have made us pretty incoherent, but I will share with you that we are all well and bedding down for a night of some very well deserved sleep.

We frankly think it’s best to let some of the images from today do the talking for us anyway! Enjoy and you will hear more of the story very soon!

  • Awesome! Sorry about the delays but glad you have finally arrived! Looks beautiful!

  • Love, love, love these pictures. I’m praying y’all will get some sleep. G’night.

  • Priceless images already and the journey has just begun! I am praying often for all of you.. In Isaiah 45:2-3 it says, ” I will go before you and will level the mountains, I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness, riches stored up in secret places, so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.” I am standing on His Word that He has summoned each of you there by name and He has gone before you to clear the path. Much love to you all. And please tell Jen Breckenridge that her BFF misses her

  • You all look so awesome and exhausted at the same time! Oh, and relieved! Glad everyone made it safely. We are all thinking and praying for you and your journey. You deserve your rest so sleep well and keep us posted!

  • You are on an exciting journey…our prayers are with your group as well as those you meet with.
