Fundraising

With many months to plan and prepare, there is time to share this mission and gain support from friends, family, and co-workers. We will work together as a team to reach our collective fundraising goal.

We offer you resources and support to help you fundraise – including support-letter templates, corporate-sponsor templates, and one-on-one coaching. We’re using DonorPerfect to collect funds and you can set up your own, personal page in minutes!

Your DonorPerfect page can be shared via social media, email, and text. We’re capping our team at 15 people to ensure a positive experience and tight-knit community. We’re setting fundraising goals as follows:

  • Solo Participant: $5000

  • Partner Participants: $7500

The Climb

You do not have to be an expert or even have experience to do this climb. Mt. Elbert is the highest peak in Colorado, but it is not the hardest. We’re partnering with Ascend Outdoor who will provide all training and equipment needed for our team to summit (or, you can bring your own equipment).

We will arrive in Denver on Saturday, July 31, acclimate to the elevation on Sunday with some fun activities, and take on the hiking of Mt. Elbert Monday – Wednesday (summiting on Tuesday). Ascend Outdoor Adventures has a packing list on their site, and our team will further discuss closer to date.

Any Upfront Cost?

There is a small registration fee of $250 /per person ($500 for Partner Participants). This fee can be paid to your own DonorPerfect fundraising page. Flight or travel to Denver, CO is also out-of-pocket, but we’ll have a van ready to pick you up. We can coordinate flights once our team is established.
